I didn't think you could even report someone missing until 48 hours after they were last seen ?
He's probably gone back to some skanks' house, got pissed, his phone battery has run down and is still sleeping.

Sounds like a ridiculous over-reaction to me! When i was his age nobody would assume i was 'missing' because they couldn't get hold of me and hadn't seen me for a whole 29 hours!
