Oh come on, just give people more of a chance and let the mods deal with it, it saves you stress and it saves the new members seeing these threads and getting offended.
I agree that newer members tend to post more ''insulting'' posts and obviously i don't agree with that but the ''pointless' threads... who are we to say what's pointless and what isn't?

I know exactly what you're saying but that doesn't mean warnings should be handed out and ''posting restricitions''... i'd hate to start a thread and have to read to ensure i've met the ''posting restrictions'', it would p!ss me off and i think i'd not want to post as much.
The thread in the BB8 forum about ''BB is panicing'' and you posted your ''why post this thread?'' comment weren't exactly productive was it, you asking that question was more pointless than anything and it would probably lead to an argument. Plus, i was speaking to people about BB8 today and they didn't even know it was starting so that thread wasn't pointless as it is true what he said and people may want to discuss that, i was actually going to reply to it then decided not to because i'd have not concentrated on the original topic as i'd have replied to your post instead.
