I know many people at my workplace that are single parents..they work. They don't sit at home relying on handouts. It's all too easy for some... It's great that this country supports single parents etc...some just try hard to support themselves rather than take take take.
My son will pass those ethics on to his children...that's what being a good father/mother is. Laziness breeds laziness... If you watched BS two parents discouraged their daughter from taking a job because it paid more to get welfare. I had such respect for a 16 year old girl who went against their wishes to work and earn her own money for her own self esteem and pride.
It's nobody's fault but the government for installing this mentality...but my admiration goes out to my son and others who have the pride to earn a living and demonstrate good ethics to others and children.

So I sat at home and took handouts while I home schooled 2 children , if it wasn't for the benefit system I couldnt have done that, so where does that put me?
My children have friends in 5 bed exec housing land and also in benefit street and the greatest lesson I have ever taught them is dont judge people on where they live or what they look like.Great people come from all walks of life and circumstances period.

yes yet a person like dee is more judgemental than a hollywood superstar so where does that fit in the great british class cliches?

It doesnt I am afraid, maybe deep down she is jealous? She certainly hates Gary and it will be shown more over the next few days I am sure. Her face just makes me cringe she looks as though she is in judgement of all things out of her reach. What I cannot understand is, how was she asked to go into CELEBRITY Big Brother! She is playing the martyr good and proper and whoever said that she befriended all to avoid nominations, was correct. I wonder if Gary will nominate her on Friday if he is still in? exactly, bring kids up in workless families is abuse in a different way. abuse of ambition , work ethic and aspiration
