Favourite housemates if a series is excluded, then I haven't watched it or don't currently have a favourite. Spoiler: |

The thing is, nobody actually knows if any of Gary's behaviour is down to anything that is claimed.
Some people think Gary adopts this persona and it's all an act specifically for the show that is reality tv. He is fully clued up on what he is doing and the effect his has and he does it intentionally. Others will either find absolutely nothing that could possible be fake or irritating about Gary or accept that some things might be difficult but they are due to his age and/or physical disabilities and shouldn't be complained about. one of my best friends received brain damage that caused physical and slight behavioral change but his IQ is 128(mensa) and he is extremely articulate..brain damage does not mean brain dead(or retarded for lack of a better word)

You appear to lack any understanding of brain damage and how it comes in varying degrees and affects different people in different ways. |

I've read through this thread again. The OP should go and do some research on Brain Damage. Then they would probably understand why there have been some negative comments about the original contention.

Someone has started a thread suggesting that brain damaged people can't say discombobulation. IS that a sign of brain damage?

The premise of this thread is ridiculous. Just because someone has brain damage doesn't mean they can't have moments (or even long periods) of mental clarity. It's absurd to suggest that because someone can form a complete sentence... Ohp... he must not REALLY have brain damage...
Ludicrous. |
