It's always a tragedy when a persons light is snuffed out before their time.

R.I.P to all the people of all nationalities who lost their lives on September 11th and the aftermath.

I will never forget the footage from that day, it was just heartbreaking.
My thoughts are with the families of the 9/11 victims and those touched by conflict across the globe today.

Remember it like yesterday. Was at school in America, when all of a sudden the loud speaker (every class and all hallways had one) went off and about 50 people were called home for 'early dismissal'. The teachers were starting to panic, I remember them meeting up in the hallway to talk about it, while we were doing out writing. I didn't feel good that day, so I asked to go to the nurse and the teacher just let me go, because all the kids were going home anyway. So I remember my dad coming to pick me up and he told me that 'something really bad had happened' and that he would tell me in the car.

I was only 8 at the time, so I was thinking, 'oh its okay, people can just move away all the rubble!' but obviously, I didn't realise how serious and devastating it was.
