It looks out onto the vestibule, or vice versa. You can clearly see it when housemates are entering the house from with the vestibule. My guess is, that when a housemate is evicted the blind reclines and the other housemates can see the evicted housemates leaving the vestibule, or when someone else enters, but doesn't enter the main house... they'll be teased by seeing them.

in the 360 degree tours its see-through and you can see through to the airlock i'm not sure if its a blind or switchable glass, and on launch night when the housemates were in the airlock you could see it from the other side either way it is not a door

its a blind, so the housemates can watch outwards whilst they are in the punishment room. look at the launch night footage and you will see!
