But that isn't true, these concepts haven't been invented by children on Tumblr, the sociology of gender and sexology too are legitimate social science research disciplines and have been for a century, they aren't ideas that were concocted two years ago on the internet, it's a genuine social research topic that seems to have been popularised by people who don't really know what they're talking about and thus allows it to be criticised by people who also don't know they're talking about.

I'm not making this up, the research genuinely exists. Whether you agree with it or not is up to you but it's not something that has been made up by fourteen year olds, sociologists, psychologists and scientists alike have spent decades investigating and theorising this subject
