BIG Brother star Jade Goody's angry partner Jeff Brazier last night told his sensational side of the couple's violent break-up—and claimed that SHE hit HIM.

Jeff is sick of reports that he attacked the 23-year-old mouthy blonde, who is five months pregnant with their second child. And he told the News of the World that she was the aggressive one.

Jeff, 24, said bitterly: "I could happily hate Jade for the rest of my life, but I can't because of our son Bobby Jack and the new baby.

"I want to put the record straight and tell everyone that I am NOT a wife-beater.

"There are two sides to this story and Jade is definitely no angel. She's admitted assaulting me even to the police. They've got it on their records.

"I adore my son. I'd never do anything to upset him. I was wrongly accused and have been publicly humiliated."

In her statement announcing the couple's split earlier in the week, Jade agreed Jeff had not "raised his hand" against her.

But Jeff stormed: "If you were wrongly accused, would you be happy with that half-hearted apology?"

It had previously been reported that police were called to their home in Harlow, Essex, after Jeff assaulted Jade.

But now it has emerged SHE lost it after a girl answered ex-footballer Jeff's mobile in a bar earlier in the evening.

A close pal of the couple said: "Last weekend things kicked off when Jade accused Jeff of sleeping with other girls. He was in a bar in Leyton, called E10, with his mates and Jade kept ringing him.

"She was obsessive about it. She kept calling and calling and Jeff kept ignoring it. Eventually one of the girls who works in the bar picked it up and Jade went ballistic. You could hear her screaming down the phone. She was asking where Jeff was and who she was. Eventually Jeff came on the phone and minutes later he went home."

When the TV presenter, who has been with Jade for nearly three years, got back home in Old Harlow, Jade gave him a slap.

Both were arrested after Jeff packed and left.

The pal revealed: "He wanted to leave Jade ages ago but then she got pregnant again. He felt like he was trapped."

Jade had suspected Jeff was cheating because of previous stories that he was unfaithful before Bobby Jack's birth nearly a year ago.

A pal explained: "Jade found it hard when people rang her up saying, ‘He is cheating on you' and stuff like that."

But this time, say friends, Jeff was innocent and had just been enjoying a drink. "He doesn't sleep with other birds now because he is too bloody scared to," said one.

TV presenter Jeff Brazier said the bullying abuse came to a terrifying climax last week when the Big Brother girl went to grab a razor-sharp kitchen knife after flying into a frenzy.

He told The People how Jade screeched obscenties as she PULLED him downstairs, tried to THROTTLE him, SLAPPED his face, viciously SPAT at him and SMASHED a phone over his head.

I suppose as all three of the tabloids are carrying this, it must have some truth.

I don't like to gloat, but merely refer you to my comments on another thread when Jeff was first accused of attacking Jade:

"Not sure I believe it actually. Jeff doesn't fit the pattern of an abuser, and Jade sure as hell isn't your average victim.

Now the other way round, possibly! "

So much for Jade and Jeff, but there is a young child involved and another on the way. If they were having problems the worst thing possible was for them to go in for another baby.

Makes you think though - just what will Jade do next to keep herself in the limelight.

I never did know what happened in BB3. I was watching and at around the 7th week she was hated by nearly everyone and was sure to leave to a crowd of boos. Then it all went wrong (As a Jade hater) and she survived some evictions and was cheered when she left on the final day. What did happen?
