Default Caroline Flack offends Tess Daly.

Strictly Come Dancing’s Caroline Flack has found herself in hot water with show host Tess Daly.

The pair are apparently not on the best of terms behind the scenes of the BBC One show.

It’s after Caroline seemed to take a swipe at Tess while talking about her and co-host Claudia Winkleman.

Speaking about the female duo, who this year took over permanently from Sir Bruce Forysth, Caroline said: “The way Claudia makes the audience feel so ‘up’ is amazing. She’s ‘on’ the whole time – even when she walks off.

“She has an amazing self-deprecating humour. She’s smart and quick.”

Caroline added, in perhaps a severe case of foot in mouth: “I mean, Tess is good as well, but they’re different.

“Claudia is so friendly.”

Meanwhile, Strictly judge Craig Revel Horwood has claimed that Claudia joining the show has helped make Tess “more human”, whatever that means.

He told new! magazine this week: “I love how Claudia changes Tess. Tess becomes a little more human and approachable in that way.

“I love the combination!”
