Bar far and away most liked on Facebook post performances [rough indication of voting], easily appealing to bored housewives who hate confident Fleur [Jake is a tad too young to appeal]. Got a nasty feeling he's the male Sam Bailey [not Andrea].
Love the fact he wears baseball caps and Pharell lite hats to seem "cool" ![]() Last edited by alex_front2; 25-10-2014 at 04:51 PM. |

I also think Simon is playing mind games with audience re Jay. He started off loving Jay then appeared to cool at JH's. And seemed to favour Fleur and Ben. He doesn't. He wants to imo package Jay as the group underdog [Stevi is a novelty/ wildcard] who emerges as dark horse and steals crown from Andrea.

I don't like Simon commenting on Andrea's facial expressions. Why doesn't he comment on James from Stereo Kicks? He looks like Quasimodo, when he's trying to emote!

It was only because he had the pimp slot last week and transformed his song into something you didn't expect from a The Proclaimers track (even if it wasn't his) and the judges lapped it all up.
Will be back to reality for him this week and he'll be back middle of the board. |

Andrea is not a karaoke act, and he actually can perform unlike Sam Bailey.
Jay had my favourite song out of the lineup this week, but he sung it absolutely dreadful, he looked the part but that's about it.

Andrea is kind of high quality karaoke imo, can't see him realistically being a contemporary male artist ala Paolo Nutini, or Ed Sheeran. Despite being gay and an emotional singer he won't even get Sam Smith type music, that is most likely Paul but Andrea can definitely do - and inevitably will do - a Mother's Day albums cover of diva classics e.g. Mariah, Celine, Whitney.
