how the hell was Andrea in the bottom 2 !!!
he's the best singer there! its the stupid double elimination that almost ruined things for him i hope this is the last double elimination now we've had too many !! and OTY got the lowest vote so stevi was somewhere behind them everyone knows he was favorite to go but having another result show tonight has probably made Andrea's fans think he's automatically safe and they maybe didn't vote as much im a fan of Andrea but my votes went to Fleur because i honestly thought Andrea was safe and retarded blazing squad wannabe's Stereopricks got lucky but i was hoping it was between stevi & stereopricks in the bottom 2 !! kids must be voting hard for those 8 dummies!!! Complacency, it wasn't his best performance, and he's not got the local 'let's win it for Andrea!' campaigns on his side.

It's because of Mel crap song choices. She's such a crap mentor.

Andrea will struggle to win because of the lack of a home territory in the UK, no matter how good you personally think he is OP, not everyone votes that way sadly.

He's better off as a runner up. Syco is only interested in pop puppets and Andrea is not one of those. He loves to sing and wants to do jazz/soul kind of music. Syco would just give him ballads to cover.

Why? The reason is simple - there is no drama in mundaness, no drama in predictability, and all TV shows thrive on drama. How utterly boring would horse racing be if the results were always as predicted by the 'form' of the horses participating and the 'favourite' always finished first, and the 'second favourite' always finished second etc. etc? ? TV Racing would soon lose its audience and the bookies would be out of a business. Similarly, how tedious would these reality shows be, if week in, week out, the public voting results were always the same as those predicted according to singing ability? Stevi's tenacity in remaining whilst better singers were voted out was just the controversial 'drama' this shows producers desired. However, in the early stages of the contest, this may have genuinely been attributable to the British public's love of 'underdogs', but this 'underdog' factor only has bearing if in tandem with the British public's willingness to 'sacrifice' acts they do not care about in order to 'save' their underdog. In the later stages - when the acts deemed 'sacrificial' have all gone, the British public have usually a great propensity for fairness, and the 'underdog' itself will in turn be sacrificed in order to save the acts with 'real' talent by comparison. This is when the 'predictability' factor enters calculations. A factor which - if 'fairness' is the criterion - decrees that the remaining acts are classified in order of talent. So yes - the bottom two should have been Stevi and Stereokicks, but that predictability is mundane -- hardly likely to satisfy the 'drama' element which creates controversy and is guaranteed to keep 'bums on seats'. This is why I suspect a bit of doctoring with the results. However, these producers are not idiots. For such a ploy to work, the genuinely talented 'substituted' act must be so strong, have such a fan base, that when pitched against a genuine bottom two act, the result is inevitable. I believe that Andrea's talent, his fan base - and the votes he receives - are enough to guarantee him a place in the final two, and I do not believe for one moment that he was genuinely in the bottom two this week because of any shortage of votes, but merely as a bit of 'gerrymandering' by the producers for the reasons outlined above. StereoKicks are the real act who should have been in the bottom two this week, and whilst they have admittedly improved over the past weeks, when weighed against the other remaining acts, I'm afraid the 'Exit' door beckons. I don't think winning the show really matters, if anything the main prize is getting to go on tour and getting paid for singing the whole time. The best part of winning might be the chance to have a number one single however most winners seem to flop.
The likes of Ben would be a perfect winner, he'd probably be back to driving a van within three years while Andrea is having sold out shows. |

Andrea was crap on sat nite, I listened to it again on sun but didn't watch and he was terrible. I was not surprised he was bottom 2 @ all. Fleur is by far the best singer there but I love ben.

Fleur, Andrea and Ben are my idea of the final three - and hopefully in that order, but I can accept any order really. Last edited by kirklancaster; 24-11-2014 at 09:07 AM. |

I wasn't shocked. He does what feels like the same performance every week and he has gradually got worse. I think he needed this as a kick up the backside to do better. I was worried it would be Andrea vs Lauren in the sing off though. Finally stevi has gone

Winners are usually cursed anyway and disappear after a year or two.
Andrea was given a crap song on Saturday. I stick with my views that he will be a far bigger hit in the US, he fits the American market far more than he does the UK. |

This tbh, he would be amazing in America, they're style of music is so much better over there, Britain in general is not a fan of soul music, send him over to America and he would dominate.

He will never win the show....which is fab for him as he is not a puppet for the Syco machine ,he has talent and will go on to bigger and better things . Simon is back and he wants Fleaur to win with Ben a close second....so that's they way the show will go. You only have to look at the bad edit and the bad press that went against Paul to see how Simon/Syco operate .

all these theory's about how genuine the results show was on saturday
to me it didn't make sense that's why im shocked and annoyed , because even if Andrea doesn't win he still had a huge fanbase , so its interesting that some people think its rigged because ive always wondered that stereopricks cant last much longer oty & stevi have gone so now its their turn but i dread to think who the other act will be if its Andrea again then people have given up supporting him by looks of it or the show doesn't want him to win because like others have said he's not locally the peoples choice or whatever |
