Basically I'm handing in my notice tomorrow.. How did you find giving in your notice(s)? Was it a walk in the park or did you leave feeling embarrassed?

I don't know if it'd be embarrassing for me, but it might depending on the person. I've just been reminded of a story which doesn't really have anything to do with handing in your notice really but back in 2005 my auntie got the sack from the chip shop she worked at because she was pregnant.

It's not uncommon Jake, just be professional, speak to your boss and tell him/her you have given this a lot if thought but realise you are not happy and you are going to leave and pursue a different path, hand over the letter, work your notice period if there is any and enjoy the farewell party :
