Video Report on above link.
[Returning patient Alexandra Deberry said: "I'm young, I'm 26, you know,
of course I want to go out and have fun.

Well, even though the excessive consumption of alcohol is never a great idea, I think this is..
If it dilutes the alcohol? The added vitamins as well as the lack of reliance on painkillers will have more of a hepaprotective flushing effect, I cant see the problem if it's not abused on a regular basis?

tbh if you're drunk enough to have a hangover, get some pain relief tablets and hope for the best. waste of resources to have someone come and administer an IV drip.

wow, think this is the first time we agree on something!

but yeah, I do agree.

Unless this is used because the person has drunk way too much and could die from poisoning

in that case, it should be kept, lol

It's a service, if you're willing to pay for it who cares?

Meh. You can die from taking over the counter pain meds. What's the difference? Unless it's genuinely "risky" then it's "their body, their choice"... surely...

And so long as the people doing it are properly trained and using clean equipment, obviously.

Skeptical that it can cure any hangover in 30 minutes, though. If it's a hangover due to dehydration / nutrient deficiency (that's what most of a hangover is) then yes it will help a lot... if it's one of those extraspecial hangovers where you just drank so much that you actually still have a high blood alcohol level then it's not going to do much at all. It's not a transfusion!
