It's 3 weeks away. This gave us at least 2 weeks more of non-christmasy shenanigans. The christmas movies everywhere are the worst.

Well next week's the final so they can't really avoid Christmas songs there. But I agree, I can't remember semi-finals usually being Xmas themed.
