Default Anyone ever had this ebay/paypal problem...

Right, so I loaded my paypal with £500 to go on a slight buying spree on ebay as there is loads of stuff we need and gav got a nice tax refund through

Anyway, I have bought some stuff (totalling around £300) and now they have placed a buying limit on my account...I know they do selling limits and stuff but I have never heard of buying limits. It says that I need to receive positive feedback so they can check that the payments are working correctly but 12 of the(19) people I have bought from tonight have already given me positive feedback for instant payment. I know the payment has gone through fine as I did a manual transfer of my money to paypal about a week ago to give it time to clear and stuff...also I have received receipts, the money has been debited, and as I said I have feedback already and a few items marked as sent too.

If anyone else has had this, how long did the limit last? I'm hoping 24 hours because I really cant be arsed with ID documents and that (mainly as I have no photo ID, so that parts usually a pain in the arse) and the 'receive positive feedback' thing clearly isnt working

Have you contacted eBay? They put a limit on everything to avoid fraud like stolen credit cards, but if you contact them and explain they will sort it out for you, getting positive feedback won't mean much as you would get them regardless of whether you were fraudulent or not, so it will take time if you leave it.

Been registered with ebay since 2009. Paypal since 2010.

Feedback is 100% positive. 128.

Dunno if seller stuff matters but
I have only sold 3 things...I have positive for all of those too and they dont hold my money from sales anymore. Selling limit per month is £3500.
