When Becki entered the House two weeks ago she wasted no time telling the others how "mad" and "crazy" her friends were always telling her she is.

Her friends, judging by her behaviour this morning, may have a point.

First out of bed, the newcomer slipped on a pair of marigolds and began to rinse some dishes in the kitchen sink. So far, so normal.

Some time later, fellow female Shell rose, slunk into the Diary Room and emerged some time later looking a little hacked off.

"Did you sleep well?" Becki chirped. But Shell was in no mood to talk, and with a brief shake of her head, swept past Becki and back to bed.

This was the catalyst for a lengthy monologue that saw Becki chatter animatedly to herself while making little sense.

"Ouch!" she cried in mock pain, stabbing at her chest with an invisible knife. "Did I make that happen?"

"Well I'm sorry, I'm just a bitch - a bitch with opinions," she decided.

"I SAID it! I DID it!" she sighed. "It was nothing personal, oh damn damn damn!"

"It was not intended for her ears... *******, it was nothing personal!"

"I like the girl, I have a lot of fun with her. How does that change your relationship?" she asked. "Well I'll tell you later," she answered herself.

Finally, Becki said something that actually made sense.

"Oh *******. Oh *******!" she squawked. She had broken a plate in the sink.

I can't go out there though because my garden needs doing. The grass needs cutting, the weeds need hoeing and my youngest has put up his football net so he can practice. It looks a right mess
