The housemates were beside themselves when they learnt that they failed their weekly task.

After three days of wearing school uniforms and attending lessons, the housemates were hoping for a big reward.

But they were crushed to learn that with four fails notched up over the course of the task (their allowance was three), they had failed and will not receive a shopping list next week.

The reasons for their failure were as follows: one insubstantial historical re-enactment lesson (the one with the moon landing), and three incorrect spellings given in the final exam (by Stuart, Nadia and Daniel).

"This stinks!" sulked Victor.
