Just wondering, if there is a division in Perez and Michelle fans?
We see Perez "hurting" Michelle by telling her she does NOT represent LGBT as she is not gay. Can you like them both? Or do people think it was wrong of him to say that? Or right of him to say that? Just curious

People can support whoever they want, we're not like, a discussion group to decide who to universally hate

Haha no, I was just interested in hearing personal reasons for any preference based on their views. I find it interesting that Perez doesn't think Michelle, as a straight woman, can represent the LGBT community and I wondered how that resonated. THIS is a discussion group.

I guess Perez may have been implying Michelle's interest in the LGBT community is different from being actually part of that community and experiencing at first hand what it is like.
In that sense, Perez is right. |

Michelle comes over as a LGBT friendly person but that does not entitle her to claim she speaks for LGBT people. She isn't recognised as a spokesperson or LGBT activist or aligned with any particular group as far as I can ascertain. Michelle, imo, went in brandishing a tag line she thought might get her support from LGBT groups in the UK. She didn't need to go in with anything except her suitcase. I haven't heard her promoting or standing up for anything in fact she's been very loathe the support anyone picked on by KH. Michelle just says she supports LGBT concerns but honestly, I haven't seen and evidence of this from her in the house. For me, she comes across as disingenuous and shallow. The way she treated Perez was shocking and showed no insight given her supposed interest and support for LGBT concerns. Perez saw through her claim, imo. |

I guess people can but none of my friends who are gay like both. Well they all like Michelle and hate Perez anyway.

I didn't know that. I've had real opinion swings this series. Started loving Michelle and hating Perez. But Perez has grown on me unlike any previous HM.
