Default Misleading

Don't you just hate it when you pick something up and it says the price of it on the side and you go to the checkouts and it says a different price but you ending up paying it so you don't look like a fool?

I brought some Nescafe Gold coffee and I'm 100% sure I saw it for £2.00. so I go to the checkouts and it says £4.99 but I didn't say anything because I didn't want to look stupid or come across rude.

no, i always say 'omg i thought it was this price' and make sure it definitely was. I've had it happen a few times, but most of the time I'm right and they give me it for the right price

some places they do it on purpose, knowing full well they can take advantage of people.

I bought a pack of Capri-sun's the other day and they were £2, but the woman put it in twice by accident, and when she refunded it she could only refund me the full price, not the offer price, of something like £3.55. So they were more than free, they gave me £1.55 for free oop

You should say something, it's your money after all, and if it is priced at the cheaper price, they have to charge that as it is their mistake, as epos just hasn't priced it up right.

Remember, the customer is 'Always Right'.

If you think you're right say something, but make sure you've read the label properly, there's nothing more annoying that customers who refuse to believe they're wrong and seem to place the blame on whoever it is serving them

This exact thing just happened to me.

I just walked over to the shop and the shelf where I picked up my eggs said £1.09, I got my other bits and bobs and when I got to the till the guy serving was shouting over to his dad these are £1.99 right? and I was thinking **** paying that for six eggs so told him what the price on the shelf was, then his dad walked over and said they are £1.39 told him the same thing and he said 'Oh that's right'

Always tell them if you know you are right.

And who the hell is going to pay £1.99 for six eggs
