I had brilliant school reports because I loved school (although not the other kids...) and worked really hard. I hated PE and gave it a miss regularly and when I was 16, my PE teacher wrote "I'm sorry, I don't know this girl".
One of my brother's teachers wrote in his report when he was about 12, "He seems secure in the knowledge that ignorance is bliss". I often remind him of this, and the fact that he has made this his lifelong mantra.
