Yes, you will be able to use the old smilies from plauder....

For example....

If you wanted to enter

You would have to enter

http://www.plauder-smilies.com/multi.gif

In an image tag......

See this thread posted by Mark: http://www.thisisbigbrother.com/foru...ad.php?tid=750 for the explanation as to why the animated smilies will have to go from the site.

As he's said, it's the site or the smilies, and we can still import them from other sites (such as www.plauder-smilies.com) if we still want to use them in our posts, so it's not so bad, really.

That's GREAT news about the smilies staying, Lee. I love our smilies and would have missed them. I will probably use some plauder ones as well from now on though.

One thing, Mark did say there would be some Helen and Paul smilies in the future. Can we still have them please?

Good News Everyone.

I have just put up a thread in 'Announcements' saying that we have managed to solve the prob and the smilies are staying.

However, they do still use a lot of bandwidth and using some from plauder or other similar sites in addition to the ones on the board will help us keep this down.
