I think people should only take the holidays if they're pertinent to their religion. I'd take Hanukkah and all the Jewish ones and work over Christmas and Easter. Of course if you don't believe in anything, no holidays for you. Otherwise, it's a little cynical, don't you think LT?

Its time to abandon all holidays and bank holidays, most lazy bastards only work 5 days and have 2 whole days off

every week

No wonder we hit a global recession

I would make people work 7 days a week and have 2 days off a month. Teachers would have to have 2 jobs or no job.

Holidays here the and everywhere, its a bloody disgrace

That's a bit of a 'live to work' rather than 'work to live' ethos LT....
If it was written in ancient scripture that holy days were honoured then they should be, but they're not... in that case everyone should be afforded the specified 'holy holidays' or nobody.

i do work 7 days. well I have sunday early mornings off to clean the car go to the dump and tidy the hoose.
