I consider myself an honorary Welshman as ive been here a while now....its important now wales has come across hard times , to remember some of its proud history, mainly due to the corrupt governments who destroyed the industries....but in case the younger people don't know. it was Welshmen who helped create the nhs, the welfare state, national insurance contributions, trade unions..ok there were other legends too like keir hardie of Scotland and clem atlee of England and a few others in between. but you get the point. the welsh coal mines were the best in the world, the first ever million pound deal was doen in the coal exchange in Cardiff bay, the welsh tinned beer for the first time


They produced all the cannonballs for lord nelsons ships and produced 66% of the worlds copper. the copper was THE reason we built an empire as the copper bottomed boats made them virtually unsinkable...the welsh were cutting edge industrialists and took their methods across the globe to Africa Russia Pennsylvania usa and many more. the us constitution and declaration is a pretty equal mix of scots welsh and Englishmen who created and wrote it. and that's considered one the greatest documents ever written. the magna carta itself was heavily influenced by the welsh 800 years ago....they also wrote welsh laws on equality 500 years ago, it just took the rest of the world 500 years to catch up...the land of song and choirs is a true myth, everyone sings around here too...the welsh guards are one of the greatest regiments were a remarkable history of bravery under fire...I love wales I really do, I think its a country which has potential for greatness but is being dragged down by a perverted version fo socialism by new labour. Oh er Kyle,I better be careful don't see why people get so hett up about her tbh,I supported her in BB because I thought she made a good housemate,but I certainly wouldn't loose sleep about the way she chooses to earn a living, as it doesn't affect my everyday life and I certainly wouldn't waste time on hating and seething about someone I have never met or are likely to,I don't pay any heed to her now BB is over,leave her to it why should people care who likes and doesn't like her,it obviously doesn't bother her.
