Do you think we as the viewing public can forget about this, and move on? Or will it affect the rest of the series.
Personally I dont want to remember this, or Emily ever again. I just want to move on, and not make this another CBB5. |

I hope we can. It is only in the first week and we have 12 and a bit weeks to remember BB8 for much better things.

Chrizzle has the right idea.
It should be forgotton. I also believe that if anyone says it was racist they're just saying it for the sake of saying it. Even though I do dislike Emily, I completely feel that it wasn't meant in a racist way. |

I don't think it can be totally forgotten but I think it wont be like the race row from CBB as that seemed to take over the whole series and was allowed to go on for too long but this has been sorted out quickly and there's a lot more of the series to go and a lot more issues to be talked about to overshadow this.

Given what happened with te Jade Gobby affair we are going to have this hanging over our heads for a while.
The good thing this time was Channel 4 acted fast. |

It will probably always be remembered but the good thing is there are still 12 weeks of the show left so hopefully in that time we see some really good entertainment and at least the producers acted on it quickly.

I think, because of the circumstances in which the term was used, it will be forgotten about pretty quickly.
It's got the making of a great series, on the viewing of the first week. |

i know what she said was wrong..but i don't for one minuet think she did it as a rasist comment..I have not like emily at all..but on this occasion I felt sorry for her..she said where she came from it was used all the time..I hate the word she used..or any other comments like it ..but i truley believe it was said with no thought at all..and thats because people around her use it even her coloured friends..and i think charley and nikki made it even more so..after saying it didn't matter when of course it did ..they also said not to mention it..and yet charley wouldn't let it go..without actually saying what the word was..she made the whole situation worse..i think emily would have been kicked out for it anyway..but a little bit of me thinks charley was milking the situation..as per usual.
