..I like cooking for others but don't find the same enthusiasm if it's just for myself as I'm not really a food person..but yeah, I love especially making things that I've never done before and experimenting etc...

I love cooking, especially baking. There is nothing to beat the smell of home baked bread. I don't make as many cakes as I used to, but pies, scones etc., are so delicious to eat.

Baking if I have the time I bake something on the weekend, haven't tried to do bread yet.

No need for recipes, but thanks anyway I look at a few versions and change it slightly to my mom and my tastes.

And all the stuff I make is easy, it doesn't mean I have an easy time making it It usually takes me a few goes before I'm happy with a dish.

I only like making pasta, because it's the only thing i know how to make well. For the rest i try to keep things simple. I cook most food in the oven and never fry anything.

..yeah, me as well..sometimes it can all go amazingly and I feel really pleased with myself and other times, I find recipes can make me realise that I have multiple personality disorders...it's breally hard when you're following a new recipe though and totally concentrating on it bit by bit...I tried to make choux pastry the other week and was following it all really closely so that I didn't make any mistakes..(it was going to be a lovely profiterole dessert..)...anyway, I knew that something had gone wrong because it was getting really runny and it was meant to be piped etc but that definitely wasn't going to happen but I still kept thinking that it would stiffen up because I had put the right amount of water in and had checked that like 7 or 8 times or something....anyways, then I saw when it got to the end of the sentence, it said...'you might not need all of the water..'....THE END OF THE GODDAMN SENTENCE....!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!....what bloody good is that when you're only reading 5 words at a time to make sure you get it right....

Stir-frying is very handy, you should get a wok (if you don't have one), check out some youtube vids and have a go.

...actually, surprisingly they were...I was just going to throw them out but my OH said to just put the whole in and pipe the cream in anyway so I did and they inflated like balloons..it was really satisfying to watch them and they did taste ok-ish...I'm not really the greatest baker I have to say but I just bake more now so that I can text pics to the boys and then they'll pop in to try them all out and that means I get to see them more/devious...
