ZIGGY'S ex-girlfriend has branded his relationship with Chanelle "fake".

Oil of Olay girl Natasha Clancy claims the male model, 26, is using the Posh-a-like in a cynical ploy to gain popularity with viewers.

Natasha dumped Ziggy two weeks before he entered the house for being "too immature".

And the mum-of-one said yesterday: "There is no way he'd be interested in some teenage Posh Spice wannabe from Wakefield after being with me.

"I am 30, I have a successful career behind me and a son - these are just silly little girls.

"It's obvious what he's doing in there. He thinks that's what people want to see and that by sidling up to the girls he'll be more popular."

Natasha, who didn't know Ziggy was going on Big Brother, reckons he was put up to it by his management company.

She said: "It's all part of his bid to be famous."

Natasha also believes the former boy band singer is out to spite her for dumping him.

She added: "He sent me a text saying, 'You are going to regret this'. The next thing I knew he was on TV. He is fully aware I'll have seen him and he knows it'll hurt."

Natasha admitted she was finding it hard watching her ex portrayed as the ultimate ladies' man on TV - and to see him canoodling with Chanelle.

She said: "It's very hurtful - we only split up a few weeks ago and to see him parading about as some kind of lothario upsets me.

"It's all still very new and recent. My son sees him on there too and asks me what he's doing.

"But that's not what he's like. I know him and I know he's just playing a role, pretending he's interested in these girls.

"He wouldn't want a relationship with any of them.

"He's aware I'll be watching and feeling like this and that's what he wants."

Natasha, who was with Ziggy for two years, met him when they were both working on the London club scene. She was in charge of guest lists on the door while he worked as a host inside. "We fell madly in love," she said. "He was my best friend."

As their relationship grew more serious, Natasha, from Kensal Rise, North London, told Ziggy she didn't want him to work in clubs any more.

She explained: "I have a six-year-old son, there are more important things... and we weren't getting to spend so much time together."

But although Ziggy quit the club work to concentrate on his modelling career, his priorities remained unchanged.

Natasha claimed he was desperate for money and fame, and eventually decided the four-year age gap presented too many problems.

She said: "He's 26 but he's quite immature. I decided to finish it and we split up just two weeks before he went into the house. It certainly took him by surprise. I think he was really shocked and upset. I got fed up with paying for everything. He doesn't have any money but he wants to be rich. He thinks it's all about money and celebrity - and it isn't."

Natasha also admits it was hard seeing her name and photograph splashed all over the papers, often referred to as "one of his conquests". She fumed: "It's very difficult to ignore the rubbish that's printed and not react.

"I am not one of his conquests, that's ridiculous. We had a long relationship and we were in love."

Natasha, who has graced the cover of Elle magazine in her career, also revealed that she despises the show. She admitted: "I think Big Brother is really sad and desperate. It makes me cringe a bit.

"I don't really understand why he's done it. It's for people who want nothing but fame and I think in that sense it doesn't reflect very well on him."

But despite everything, Natasha is still rooting for Ziggy to win. She said: "He's got to, hasn't he? I'm sure he'll win it - everyone will love him. He is very kind hearted, and warm and friendly. He's a big softy and nothing like this swaggering sex symbol image he's portraying."

Meanwhile, Channel 4 chief executive Andy Duncan has admitted the Celebrity Big Brother race row caused some "reputational damage". But Mr Duncan said that although the row surrounding the programme in January had blotted Channel 4's copybook, he believed it was a "short-term" issue.

The issue of racism on Big Brother is back in the spotlight after housemate Emily Parr was removed for using the word n****r.

Mr Duncan said: "The key thing is that while it's caused some reputational damage in the short term, I also think people are capable of separating the sorts of short-term issues that any broadcaster will face from time to time from our long-term track record."

Well, his ex-girlfriend who split up with him recently with bitterness in the air is hardly going to say good things, is she?

However, it's nice she's rooting for him to win, I guess.
Personally I think the Zinelle relationship is real based on what I've seen, but the relationship isn't really based on much. He just admitted he was attracted to her as soon as he entered and she was 'his sort of girl'... I think it's a bit harsh of Natasha to say they're just silly little teenage girls.
