Big Brother: 1984 - The Series Twist
Big Brother: 1984 will be taking the idea of Orwell's novel seriously. The Housemates will find themselves split up into two social classes throughout their stay in the House, something that will become evident from the first night in the House.

Thursday - Day 1: Launch Night
On launch night, the first 7 Housemates will enter the House. They would have been randomly selected by Big Brother to enter the House. The House will be luxurious pad they were expecting with no obvious signs of a twist. They will spend the evening getting to know each other and celebrating their arrival in the House. The final seven Housemates will then enter a secret room in the House, where they will be able to see the other Housemates living in the House, and judge their movements. They will become the lower-class of the House. The Housemates in the main house will be the upper class.

Friday - Day 2: Launch 2 and Twist
On Day 2, as the Housemates in the main House wake up, they will notice that Big Brother has installed the divide. The final seven Housemates will then enter the main House, bringing the total of Housemates to 14 - this is where the twist of the series begins. The Upper Class will be forced to nominate four Housemates from the lower class for eviction on Friday evening. They will watch the new Housemates' VT's and will then decide who to nominate. Once four Housemates have been nominated for eviction, the Housemates will enter the main House. The four nominated Housemates will have to move into Big Brother's Nominations House - a small area in the main living room where they will live, eat and sleep.

The Nominations Area has a balcony which acts as a bedroom for the nominees, a small sitting area and a dining table. Outside, their shower and washing facilities are present. The nominees therefore become the lower class Housemates. They will not be permitted to enter the main house unless calling for Big Brother in the Diary Room or entering the eviction room.

Friday - Day 9: Eviction #1
Housemates will face the first eviction of the series under the new regime. Housemates will all be called to the eviction room and placed in their individual boxes. The boxes are soundproof. As Emma makes the announcement, the first part of the speech will be played to all Housemates. Only the evictee will hear if they have been evicted or not. They will then leave the eviction room and leave the House without saying goodbye.
As there are only 10 beds, the nominees will remain in the nominations area, but will be permitted to move about the main House throughout Friday evening and Saturday.

Sunday - Day 11: Nominations #1
At 9am, the Housemates will be gathered on the sofas to make their first round of nominations. One by one, the Housemates will nominate. Once the Housemates have nominated the four Housemates with the most votes will be revealed and they will be given 20 minutes to gather their belongings and move into the nominations area which will be locked as soon as they have entered.

Day 32: Live Entrance
Following the fourth eviction on Day 30, there would only be 10 Housemates in the House, meaning enough space for all Housemates in the House to live in the main area. Big Brother will therefore send in four new Housemates. These Housemates will automatically become the lower class and face eviction from the House, as the public decide which three Housemates get to stay in the House.

Once the Housemate is evicted, 13 will remain and the system remains in place. The system will be removed once there are only 6 Housemates in the House.
