By the sounds of it people only want to see the Housemates have a mass orgy followed by them killing each other. I like how this series has grown steady, and at least there is tension in the air. People think the show's died since Emily and Lesley left, but it's only just begun, what with Charley and Shabnam (And Nicky, to a lesser extent) plotting and scheming. People wanted a more normal feel to BB8, and now they've got one they're not happy.

I'm more than happy with this bunch VCK, and it'll only get better when more guys come in. Every year people slag it off, "its not as good as before" i think there is a pretty good mixture of housemates this year .. i liked Nikki up until about 2 days ago .. the woman is a serial whinger, going on an on and on and on and on about food rations!!,and i did'nt like the way she told Chanelle that Ziggy might have a gameplan. i hope she's up on friday, with Shabnab.

I think it's just a bit dull and the mix of housemates just is not right.Most of the interesting characters will be more than likely voted out as people find them too bitchy and then we are left with a bunch of people that just get on.

Im really enjoying this series, and the 2 weeks so far are far better then the first two weeks of BB7.

I'm not hating the series, its got me shouting at the telly plenty of times.

It would be nice to see BB turn on the heat and really let the cracks show for the housemates.

The divides are happening and BB needs to take avantage of it. Not for fighting but for tension

I certainly don't think it is the worst, remember Bible loving, supposed virgin Cameron? I rest my case.

This series is only a couple of weeks old. The producers (sorry) Big Brother, can take housemates away when he or she chooses and add housemates when he or she chooses. Big Brother can play games with them, muck about with nominations and do whatever they please with the housemates.

The house itself will in time drive them all potty because of it's dynamincs. Who the heck has a fridge in the garden?

The fights are already starting, Seany and Ziggy are already deciding they own the house and I wonder who else is going to come in.......Get ready for rumbles and more arguments - Hopefully good ones and not dull ones.

Exactly. It's been much different to the previous years, ehre the producers have just thrown in a couple of "lads" and a few camp, flamboyant men just to watch the firewroks before the "lads" try and get off with the women.

I think people are being too pessimistic about this series and I'm wondering why. Unless C4 are showing me a different BB to everyone else it's gripped me and the storylines are slowly building up instead of them spontaneously happening.

I knew though, that the people at DS would demand more "normal" Housemates and then when the HMs are more normal they'd be branded as "boring". I think all the Housemates have added something to this year, unlike people like Mikey, Imogen, Jennie, Bonnie, Dawn, etc from last year.

I just enjoy this series, maybe not like BB5 or BB6 because we enjoy it in a different way, it's an other type of BB, that's maybe why some people hate it. I just find this series very interesting with a lot of different characters, I just love it !

Well to be honest I don't think BB5 will be topped ever, but at least the producers aren't trying to for this series.

There have been much more likeable characters this series too. Ziggy, Chanelle, Nicky, Carole, Tracey, Gerry and the twins to an extent. Much more than the amount of likeable people in BB7 or 6. BB7 only had Pete, Michael, Aisleyne, Jonathan and Imogen. BB6 only had Roberto Science and Eugene.

Exactly! It's not like BB4 where all the Housemates were just sat on the sofas for nine weeks. Things ARE happening. Tension IS building up. Yet people are too busy moaning about how the House isn't as claustrophobic, or the Housemate's aren't as un-normal as BB5, 6 or 7.
