From The Sun
SHABNAM Paryani once faced three years in prison after allegedly being involved in a fight which saw a girl stabbed in the back. The BB beauty was just 16 when she was charged with affray after the brawl involving a school pal. Amy Moore feared that she would die when a 10in kitchen knife was plunged into her back, causing a 5in gash that scarred her for life. Shabnam was charged with affray. She would have faced jail if convicted, but the case was dropped. Amy also had the same charges against her dropped. But she later went to the UK Criminal Injuries Compensation Board, which awarded her £3,700. Last night the 23-year-old PA said: “I am in shock that Shabnam can be let anywhere near the Big Brother House. I’d be scared stiff if I was in the house.” Amy said she and Shabnam, now 22, had been pals for ten years while living next door in Islington, North London. But she added: “Although we were friends she was always strange. “We used to play together all the time, but the older we got the stranger she became.” Amy told how the fight broke out when a petty row escalated. She said: “Suddenly a friend shouted, ‘You’ve been stabbed’. I hadn’t even noticed but my jumper was soaked in blood. “We ran off. It wasn’t until I realised what had happened that the pain kicked in. “I went to hospital and the police were called.” |

See, this is once again an example of the worst kind of manipulating and misleading journalism.
Read the article carefully. No where does it say that Shabnam stabbed this girl. Yet the headline has "Stabnam" in it. You read it and your first impression is that Shabnam has stabbed someone, but it does't say that at all!! Plus if she had stabbd her, she would have been charged with either causing actual bodily harm (ABH) or even grevious bodily harm (GBH). They didn't even charge her with battery, in fact they had to drop the charge of affray. Affray!! That's a nothing offence and they couldn't even get that to stick. They must have had no evidence at all against Shabnam! ![]() And they say a 10in kitchen knife was "plunged" into this girls back leaving a 5in scar. Yet only £3700 in damages! I don't think so, that sounds like compensation paid for a scar on the skin, not a knife being "plunged" into someone. Complete and utter bull**** ![]() |

![]() The Newspapers are very clever that way & as soon as a story like this is unearthed from somewhere, they shall stick the house-mates name right at the beginning, regardless of anything else. nodisharmony ![]() |
