So I've just caught up on Friday's and Saturday's shows and had loads of different ideas for threads at various points throughout them but they're both positive and negative so I thought rather than do that I'll just throw all the rants into one thread to get it out of the way
![]() We'll start with the structure of the eviction show. And what kind of nonsense was that bloody time machine? ![]() The whole atmosphere was very sad and depressing in my opinion, watching three good housemates and one enjoyable/likeable housemate being shafted for no reason at all, only to be replaced by two newbies which seem completely dispensable. All their reactions summed it up and I found it very disheartening to watch it unfold. Two weeks of a good series dismantled over the course of a couple of hours. I also get the feeling Emma wasn't a fan either, her comment 'well you guys were all getting along so we had to do something' is clearly the reason behind the twist in the first place and she's always made comments of how she hates the constant drama filled series like BB15 so I expect she wasn't happy at all. The crowd were just as scummy as ever, chanting 'off off off' at the twins for no reason at all. They really are disgusting, brainless, scummy rats that need to be done away with. Just added to the misery of the night completely. I also thought Harriet's comment in her interview where she teared up saying 'no one knows what it's like in there, you aren't living with them, they're all a lovely bunch of people and get judged to easily' or something along those lines sums up my feelings of people who take this show way too seriously and is the perfect rebuttal to the crowds disgusting and unnecessary behaviour. They are just people living in a house on a TV show, it's not real and we see 48 minutes a night of their lives, we don't know them, only the housemates do...so to call any of them 'disgusting', 'vile' or anything like that is over the top and unjustified. I know someone will probably point out that this is the same for calling housemates 'boring' and I admit that yeah, it's probably true...but when all you're getting is 48 minutes a night, the people who aren't doing something or doing as much aren't really going to be shown as much, and therefore the logical reasoning is that they should leave over people who are. They probably aren't really that boring, but from the bits we see it appears that way. Anyway, on to some more positive aspects...and we'll start with SHOWBIZZZZZZZZZ YAAAAAASSSSsssss ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Also, is Marc potentially the best newbie ever? Man, what an arsehole. But way to stir things up ![]() ![]() Lastly however, one thing that really did piss me off was how when it started kicking off, A) they wouldn't let Chloe out of the Diary Room and even worse, B) they uttered one of the worst things I think I've ever heard Big Brother say over the speakers - 'Big Brother thinks housemates should calm down'. What the ****ing ****? So let me get this straight, this entirely awful ****ing twist was engineered by the head of programming at C5 in order to stir up some drama (the newbies have obvs been instructed to cause it, especially Marc) and then the minute said drama starts occurring you actually tell the housemates directly calm down? Don't ****ing destroy a good ****ing series at the expense of some good ****ing housemates to chase after ****ing ratings if you're then going to stop ****ing drama in its ****ing tracks you ****ing incompetent ****ing morons. Rant over. |

As always the voice of truth Jack.
I disagree with Mark praise though, sure he is causing conflict but it seems so engineered I can't enjoy it much. Jade was AMAZING though strutting around sipping her drink giving him dirty looks

Marc's drama is really boring to me though? There's nothing hilarious or inspired or clever about just being "lol getting an STI test" or "tits on a stick lmao." I think it's just another example of this show trying to appeal to the lowest common denominator and it's quite worrisome about what's to come. I think at this point the producers are expecting everyone to act like a lunatic and not a real person, and if they don't deliver based on those terms they'll just chuck them all out and throw in a new batch in. Thank you Perez for ruining BBUK

Agree with pretty much everything there, apart from Showbiz (shouting 'Showbizzzz' every two seconds doesn't really prove he will be a good housemate or entertaining) and Marc.
Quote:
It's all great he's causing drama but none of it's natural at all and for that I just cannot sit there and find it as entertaining as other people seem to be. Jade's reply backs made me laugh a few times though and he caused a different side of Chloe to unleash too which was quite interesting. Quote:
That baffled me too. Why the hell send new people in to cause drama then tell the housemates to calm down ![]() |
