I think he used to suck his thumb and twiddle his hair , you can tell by his teeth he sucked his thumb and how he constantly touches his hair makes me think he was a sucky thumby twiddly type boy , that's why he touches his face Im guessing all down to self comforting .

He picks his nose because no one smacked his hand when he was little and did it.

He was having a good old dig in tonight's episode and then wiped it on the sofa, then another dig and on the blue buzzer. If he is not picking his nose he is ruffling his hair. Imagine what's lurking in there unless he forgot to bring his hair gel in I suppose.

When he was sat on the bed talking to Jade with his back to the camera, I swear he was picking and licking. You only have to look at the size of his nostrils to see he's a regular picker
