The X Factor has scrapped the room auditions for this series, Caroline Flack has confirmed.

Speaking to Digital Spy and others in Mallorca to promote the return of ITV2's Love Island, Flack revealed that we'll be going straight to the arenas in the new series.

She added that she believes it's the right decision, saying: "I think the arenas create loads of excitement.

"For me, when I was there [on The Xtra Factor], when you walk into the arena you feel that excitement. It's so good! It's such a good feeling."

Flack will host The X Factor with Olly Murs this series, replacing previous host Dermot O'Leary.

1) Dermot's departure
2) No room auditions

So i thought it was going off to a great start.

Caroline being the main host and we could see Louis Walsh leaving(sorry but he is boring now) but then they get rid of room auditions

I hope his means they are visiting different cities still not just London
