She's not being silly, she is basically crying out for somebody to defend her when Marc calls her names and bullys her.

As a victim of bullying in high school I totally understand her just wanting to curl up in a ball and hide away, people can only take so much and Marc has done nothing all episode but bad mouth her and try to get other housemates to bad mouth her too. He is a bully.
