Since the 4 new boys arrived even Charlie has been so quiet it's hardly believable. Is the reason for this new "calm" a result of a balance of men-women? or a result of Shab's eviction? OR is this a temporary "calm before another storm"?? What do you think?? The bithing has stopped as the girls now have eye candy in my opinion but "normality" of a "normal human community" - balanced with both sexes is the real reason. BB* has shown, Girls can't live in harmony, the "guy's fantasy" of a Harem of gorgeous women is really a nightmare! Very psychological stuff - & I am sure the only reason itworked so well was Ziggy's strength in that week - many other men would have gone stir crazy! Respect the guy!

Yes we're currently going through the honeymoon period of the new housemates arriving, give it another day or so and it'll all kick off again.

I've already mentioned this in another thread, but Charley kicked off again last night. From the bits I picked up when the sound wasn't cut, it had been going on for ages, maybe even hours. LINK She ended up drying individual extensions by dangling them under one of the hairdryers, and then Brian calmed her down by reassuring her that they'd get to the bottom of it in the morning.

I don't really get the thing about Piggy's 'strength'. He tried 'divide and conquer', but failed miserably. He's been the source, whether directly or indirectly, of much of the conflict we've seen since he entered the house. And he's actually more true to the stereotype of the typical female BB hm than many of the girls are, in fact. He's what they used to refer to in Smash Hits as a 'girliebloke'.

I think a lot has to do with the boos and that Charley felt she was in her way close to Shabz.

OR it may be that one or more of the men has said that he heard "Get Charley Out" chanted as he came in?

She also knows Brian doesn't she? There is a combination of reasons for her change.

As for the other girls. There is a nicer balance and having four new people come in at once whether male or female means more people to chat too and get to know. It means they do not have to talk (or argue) with the same old faces.

The situation is very nicely poised and certainly the last couple of nights have been very different. I would say that much is down to the new arrivals and possibly the type of men they are too. I think there is some relief as well with Shabnam leaving because no matter what we may have thought of her she would have been quite exhausting for some of the HMs

Will it stay like this? I doubt it can because there is always a game going on in the background.

Last night after a heart to heart and a clear the air conversation with Ziggy, they were walking back into the house and Charley said , in quite a loud voice 'But I still don't think I'm the biggest bitch in here though'

She couldn't have meant Channelle could she? or Nicky or who?

I think that the next phase will hinge mainly around Charley's reactions to the new set up. Will she find a man?, or will she get turned down for someone else ? Sort of classic BB really.

Trust me to start this topic & bang - Nicky the squirrell starts bitching in the garden about Charlie to Brian & Billy & at 12.50 Here she goes again -Charlie launches into Laura in the bedroom - started by hair straighteners-again! "100mph Rant" & name calling hurled at the Welshgirl! 2 faced, selfish, "who's gonna look at you!" (ouch!)

Well it was quiet..... I ain't bovvered! - I've heard that somewhere before (Is Catherine Tate in the house?) Calm down Chalie ..

BUT - Charlie apologised at 1pm!!!!
