I'd recommend a glycolic toner. The nip&fab one is quite good and like 12ish from boots. Google the benefits of glycolic on skin. In the year I've been with my bf i've got him using a mask regularly, the nip and fab pads and a moisturiser. He is reaping the benefits.

Main ingredient in soap (and most facial 'washes') is SLS - the main ingredient in washing up liquid. It strips the skin so it produces more oil (sebum) to compensate and this causes/exacerbates acne. Sebum also doesn't help with hydration, so in 10yrs most will be still greasy skinned but also wrinkly *snap*
