I'd say so, considering it seems two-way. Marc was very protective over Simon when he saw people sniping about him and rushed over to hug him yesterday. I do think they're close.
I like their friendship actually, it's one of those unexpected ones considering Marc seemed to hate the idea of living with Simon on the night they went in.
