Look at this whole thread... People are purposely misunderstanding the criticisms of Jade so they can get on their high horse about sexism.

People's problem with Jade is that she told a bare faced lie about Cristian coming on to her. You've made some fair points about jade's character in your posts but the point of this thread isn't about whether or not she's a good person, or even whether people like her or not, or if there's value in prejudice or discrimination. The question is, is jade discriminated against because she's polyamorous? My worry is, if the answer is yes, is that it means we're forming our opinion of someone based on the fact they have a lifestyle that people don't fully understand (myself included) rather than look to see past her lifestyle choice and judge her as a person.

Instead, Cristian accused her of what he did and she turned the truth on its head and made him out to be the one who was after her when we've all seen his discomfort at the way she was draping herself over him.

As for her polyamory, or "polyamorousey" as she mistakenly calls it, I think it's a total con. She claims to have done the research into it and seen people about it and why she was always cheating on her boyfriend and yet she still doesn't know the actual word for it. The girl is a fraud and a liar and people are making her out to be a victim. I wish it were unbelievable to me, but people would rather celebrate themselves for their open mindedness about these things in this day and age, rather than condemn an obvious fake.

no she's not....because she hasn't a clue herself what polyamorous is...she only used it to make her free and single in the bb house thinking all the boys would run to her.... bad move. her lies are catching up to her...still at least she can go back to her boyfriend.

I've already said that I think discrimination in some forms is perfectly right and proper. There's no such thing as tolerance, just ever changing fashions of intolerance. Jade is not being discriminated against for this but for being a horrible person.

I'm poly. My partner has another lover who is also my best friend. We are monogamous within that triangle and have been for the last 6 years. She's not only his lover, she's another soul mate. She doesn't sleep around, I don't sleep around, my partner doesn't sleep around. Poly is not being a swinger or even in an open marriage, its more often about full and committed relationships with more than one person which may or may not include sex. I for example, don't have sex with anyone other than my husband but I'm still in a polyamorous relationship.

I don't normally tell people around me that we are polyamorous because people don't understand the meanings behind that word...its such an alien thing. Even Wiki is confused about its definition!

What Jade is doing in the house is absolutely nothing to do with being poly. It takes a minimum of two people to venture into polyamorous situation; both have to agree that one or both want to find another partner. Jade openly flirting with other men in the house is just Jade being flirty but has absolutely nothing to do with polyamory.
