Default Vote To SAVE = Less manipulation?

so Marc is 'immune' again, i am not bothered by this, as the other housemate really are utterly useless. But this is an obvious attempt to keep him in as the public just keep on evicting those characters.

i am at a loss as to why the producers are using vote to evict again on modern day BB. people say its for the 'money' but really would it generate that much more money than vote to save ?! especially if their are multiple housemates up.

at the end of the day there would be far less manipulation on the show if the producers were more confident that the better characters would stay when facing the public vote. we know Jade would have quite comfortably survived a vote to save tonight, more than likely evicting Harry instead (which really would have been no loss)

I cant fathom the trail of thought here production wise.

They should just do normal nominations each or most weeks, with a vote to save. It really isn't that hard.

It's the other way round!
VTS is much more open to manipulation.

VTE is how it should be.

I'm not fussed about the vote system, but I agree about nominations. They need to stop trying to out-twist themselves, it's like they're convinced the viewers don't want just a normal series and the show needs ridiculous twists all the time.

Well yes the show is there to make money and they have said themselves they get more calls (=more money) with VT evict than to save. The one year (think it was celeb) which was to save a lot of favs went, they said calls were low and everyone was constantly complaining so they went back to original BB which was evict.

Yes, of course. There would be less manipulation with VTS. I mean, the producers are doing everything in their power to keep someone like Marc in the house since he's the biggest loudmouth on the show. But they wouldn't need to do so many random twists to keep big characters in there if they simply changed the voting format to VTS once and for all.

Drama would naturally ensue if the more intriguing characters were able to survive the evictions and VTS would make it easier for those characters to stick around.
