Like every group there are fluxes in what they do. No one can deny the fantastic work done by the feminist movement throughout history and the ongoing work in certain areas. However feminism is, I believe, classified by waves and I think it's third or fourth wave feminism that is basically misandry using the feminist brand. This is going on stuff I read a while ago now so don't take it as gospel but I think most of us have encountered people who use the feminist title to excuse dislike of men. I think these are the people she was talking about, the "feminists" who give feminism a bad name.

I don't know what the 3rd and 4th brand feminists are, but tend to wonder where the whole lot of the feminist movement are when girls are being forced into marriage, genitally mutilated, and told to cover their heads/bodies with clothing.

Maybe they should be out there doing some good instead of perusing sites concerning tv programmes.
