They annoy me too but I don't insult them. They know what consequences they will get. It's up to them and to the government to sort it out.

It's just been on the news: after the court ordered them to stop the strike, fishermen refused and will continue until further notice.

And arista, if we broke the rule, we would have been 'punished' by the authorities. We clearly don't so it's fine.

The Stinking French Strikers
are now standing down after holding us up for 3 days.
What did they get - Bugger all.
From SkyNews and LBC radio.

Sarkozy needs to break the backs of these
out of date strikers.

The strike is over in the ports but not in a few factories.
The fishermen said they'll be back, and stronger this time but with another type of protestation.

dude nitpicking...
when I say France ... read EU. Goes without saying :P ... does the aussie tourist have a point or not? If the rest of the world were as protectionist as the EU are you'd be screwed. That was her point. Disagree with her if you like but EU subsidies are the always a point of argument at every world economic forum.African's and african markets are the real losers due to these policies.
I am against Europe and everything it involves so to me, France is France. Not EU.

If we're talking about EU then I agree, she has a fair point. However, EU isn't illegal when doing this, they're not that protectionists to get sanctions from the WTO.
I also agree that it's always the same issue over and over again and it won't be solved in a while...knowing the current economical situation.
You're still part of Europe. It's on the same continent, no matter what the Brits would like to believe.

Get Sarkozy down there and Sack them all
lets have a War.
Has anyone ever told you that humour doesn't fit on you ?

We don't have 'a war', that shows how bad you know how strikes are going there. Well, some can get nasty but not all of them. Sarkozy will talk to them in a few days if the situation is still stuck. He knows how to work it. Like he said 'In France, when a strike is going, no one notices it' IN YOUR FACE SOCIALISTS !
But France is having a Thatcher Type Revolution
So Sarkozy needs to break the Strikers Bang On Hard.
Blood and all.
Just the opposite, dude. Sarkozy went in like Thatcher, and it backfired. He's not going to last. He's a failure. Conservative politics did not work. It's as bad as it ever was.

Get out a dictionary. Political correctness does not mean it's acceptable to use slurs. Don't keep trying to hide behind that ridiculous phrase which was coined by the Left in America.

Arista, get a new phrase. "Political Correctness" is over. That phrase is cliche. Time to be a man and take responsibility for your mouth.
