It's not Marc's actions that make him a good housemate, but it's the reactions he provokes in people that does and that is usually always the case for housemates like him. Granted the same storyline did wear a bit thin towards the end, but housemates that piss others off and are difficult to live with are beneficial for the show. They may not be good people or ones that we'd want to live with, but within the confines a television show they are necessary.

I don't buy into the theory that BB16 was boring before 4in4out because it wasn't, and as series ruining as that twist was (moreso than Marc himself) because we lost three great housemates, his presence wasn't all that bad and gave people like Danny especially a purpose, and to a lesser extent Chloe, Sam and even Cristian. That's never a bad thing.
