BB would have been dead in the water after the race row if not the publicity and interest that BB7, specifically Nikki, had generated.

She is awful,an embarrassment tbh,why some people think she is a 'legend' is a source of amusement to me,she is a whiney,spiteful brat,she is not representative of us Brits at all.

Nikki is only a legend in her own mind and the minds of BB producers that think it might earn them a few quid if they keep saying it. She was a whiny nonentity when she first appeared, and nothing has changed since

Who are you to say she needs help? Her recovery from anorexia has been well publicised and if you rewatch UBB and BB16 you'll see that she was a calmer person than she was in BB7

I didn't mean team comps (for BBUK). meant as in challenges, how they sometimes have reward challenges and they have to answer how the house would respond.
I just don't see her over the top personality as something that remotely entertaining.
Rachel Reilly was interesting. Hated her first go round but grew to REALLY like her for her gameplay and feisty take no prisoners attitude.

In the short time Nikki was on this year (which is all I can base my opinion on) I found that she was a waste of airtime.

There is little to no strategy involved in BBUK and winning comps only gives you a luxury budget, hardly anything to shout about.

Go and watch Big Brother 7 (2006) and you'll see why she is as revered as she is. It's important to remember that the UK and US/Canada formats are very different and viewers look for very different types of housemates respectively.

Oh dear. Age is nothing but a number and if two people are happy and consenting with having sex or entering into a relationship, there is no problem and it is no one else's business but their own.

Nikki may have been a lot of things, but a non-entity is not one of them and to suggest she was is really quite silly. That term is saved for real dullards like Sam Evans, Hira, BB11's Laura, BB14's Sophie, the list goes on. A housemate who is pretty much the focal point of an entire series is not a non-entity.

And whether you like her or not, Nikki is a legendary Big Brother housemate because of how recognisable she is to both fans of Big Brother and non-fans. The list also includes(d) people like Jade Goody, Brian Dowling, Chantelle, Pete Bennett and Brian Belo, along with a few others.

And the notion that Nikki saved Big Brother from collapse post-race row is most definitely true, she is what Nasty Nick was to Big Brother 1, Richard Hatch is to Survivor and Dr Will is to Big Brother US. All set the ball rolling, started the revolution and kept their show afloat. Had Big Brother 7 not been such a successful, talked about and loved series, partly because of Nikki's infamous tantrums which are still shared around on social media today, then the race row would have killed Big Brother UK stone dead. Which it kind of did eventually, but it would have done so with immediate effect.

Majority of show is manipulated by production. ALL diary room sessions are scripted. It's a joke. Really love how they do BB in UK and Australia. The diary room sessions are hysterical.
