JOSE MOURINHO has confirmed that Eva Carneiro and Jon Fearn will not be on the Chelsea bench for Sunday’s game against Manchester City.

As exclusively revealed by Telegraph Sport, club doctor Carnerio and first-team physio Fearn will miss the trip to Eastlands, but Chelsea manager Mourinho insists he has not shut the door on their possible return later in the season.

Mourinho was furious with Carneiro and Fearn for running on to the pitch to treat Eden Hazard in the 2-2 draw with Swansea City and suggested the pair did not understand the game.

It's pathetic how he's relegated Dr Carneiro* away from the bench and training as if she's some surley U21 player. Ffs she's a fully qualified DROCTOR!?!?! Regardless of whether Hazard was feigning injury, the ref waved the medical team so they ran on.

Why doesn't Jose just admit he has f%&ked this up and come clean this is all about deflecting focus away from Chelsea's awful performance against Swansea
