King De Bruyne is looking more likely by the day. The worry of him nearly staying with Wolfsburg got thwarted instantly after they forced him to speak German. We never do transfers easily.

It's only LB and midfield that concerns me now. But I suspect they will go all out to fix those next season now. They probably have enough faith in Delph, Fernando, Fernandinho and Yaya. But it's easily the weakest of the title contenders.

I think you'll be fine in those areas for a title challenge. Toure, Fernandinho, Fernando and Delph should be enough. If Otamendi settles quickly and your front four is De Bruyne, Silva, Sterling and Aguero... you'll be more than fine.

It'll be interesting to see how you do in Europe. That front four could well be stunning. Provided Aguero stays fit.

Depay is a fantastic talent & will score us goals BUT we should have brought in a world class striker by now.

The Di Maria & Falcao signings last summer were purely for show. LVG never really looked like trusting them. How much say does LVG have in the signing of new players ?.
Arsenal never bring in many players & don't have the world class talent like City & Chelsea but they are seen as title contenders but we are not.
There is something clearly wrong for a club that makes so much money like we do yet have nothing to show for it.

The negotiations do not start and end with him. Do you really think Van Gaal would allow Woodward to spend what he likes without consulting him? David Gill and Fergie worked together on deals. The same happens with Van Gaal and Woodward.

Big names can be attracted but it's difficult. Schweinsteiger is a big name player. As were Falcao and Di Maria. City and Chelsea do not get who they want their first choice targets at all times. Nobody does.

City wanted Godin but he wanted to remain at Atletico. Otamendi was City's second choice.

Real Madrid's quest each summer is to sign a galactico. This summer they've signed no galactico. There aren't any big names available. Next summer will be different due to the Euros.

I don't agree, but let's just see what happens before the window ends. I have a terrible feeling we are going to spend like 50m on Kane or some ****.
