I like being alone but at night I get scared sometimes since a few years ago at night someone kept banging and trying to get in

..I love solitude and my own thinking time/space but not necessarily being alone/if that makes sense...being alone means my OH isn't here so not something that I would ever like or prefer...I as scared also when I was younger Will and never slept when there was no one else in the house...every creaky sound was a monster .....
