Default Big Brothers Yawning Brother

Hope you enjoyed the humorless play on words in the topic title.

Anyway , what this topic is about is me venting my frustrations in true old man fashion at Mr. O' Leary and his very tired spin off show.

The show seems to have lost all its humor from last year and has yet to really replace such classics as the bunny cam , the news desk , and the quiz where you win the housemates stuff [cue music] amongst others.

In addition to this , the show has become INCREDIBLY formulaic , to the point where you know exactly whats going to happen and whats going to be the Big Brothers Shout topic before the clock strikes half seven.

The C-List celebritys hardly lift the show up either [who really cares about their pre written views on big brother].

And going even higher up the alphabet to the D-Listers , the show suffers from being wattered down by LAST YEARS contestants. A sign of lazyness by the producers? Or is it the simple fact that last years contestants remain more popular?

Either way it makes THIS series and THIS formulaic [im in love with the word] show seem very tired indeed.

///End Rant

I think its the fact that BBLB has to provide entertainment, and the way to do that is by bringing back the obvious housemate Nikki.
To be completely honest, the whole interview thing is boring, and the BBLB news has really gone downhill as he uses the same pun everytime. "Cue you"

Saying that, i did enjoy when him and davina were in that bed. It made me laugh.

I do kind of agree, but I've been watching alot more of this years BBLB than last years. Miss things like bunny cam "bright eyes...." but so glad Glyn is still around. Pissed meself watching him play swingball the other day!

I ain't watched any of Big Mouth this year, crap unfunny presenters. That show really ain't the same.

Yeah Davina is great on the show mainly as a result of the two having chemistry together on screen. The likes of Shabaz , however , does not have chemistry with a sweeping brush [and he has probably tried coming on to it].

But is bringing in the 'B-Team' really the only way to liven up the show???

Perhaps he could stop saying ''Its time for little brothers big news , get out'' or trying to spend 5 minuets talking to someone on a webcam.

Also , I mourn the loss of the big lightboxes.

I still love BBLB, it's much better than BBBM IMO, well I did think BBBM was better than BBLB, but that was only when Russell hosted the show.

I can see where you are coming from and agree up to a point with your conclusions....However I don't feel as strongly anti BBLB as you do at present....

My grumbles would be that they no longer have the latest evicted housemate on all the week and involved in little comedy type routines (Going back to BB2 for example).

For those peolple who miss an evicted housemate it was a good way of phasing them out of the series.

I like to see some ex housemates revamped on the show but once again they should choose carfully. Nikki is a good choice love her or hate her she does her little interview with a degree of enthusiasm to get it right........While the others are just foolong around and come across very amateur like.

I don't miss the bunny cam etc I always regarded that as rather pathetic and childish byond belief.

Dermot is however getting rather repetative (Always asking a member of the audience to do the news) he does need to ring the changes..........

Also in defence of the show the housemates this year and the poor tasks and lack of twists don't give him much to work with. So I don't feel it is all his fault...
