Default X Factor - What was done for ratings?
Apparently Mason Noise is coming back and obvious it's for ratings what else have they done for ratings/publicity?

Sending Gamu home - It's obvious the judges don't get a full say in anything and I personally think the producers made Cheryl send Gamu home because that would get people talking because how shocking it was and they wanted Cher Lloyd and Katie Waissel(so did i tbf) in the live shows..

1. Every joke act that makes the lives and gets voted through the first few weeks before hitting real trouble.

2. Katie Waissel making the lives and surviving sing-offs 4 times against more talented acts in some cases.

3. James Arthur going into the bottom two and going onto win, it was suppose to advertise a new element to the programme to keep the general public excited that an act can still win even after being in the bottom two.

4. Christopher Maloney being brought into the lives as the wildcard because the line-up that they originally had wasn't exciting enough to keep the show going for 10 weeks so had to use a neurotic cruise ship singer to get everybody talking.

5. Leona winning series 3 as it got a lot more minority groups watching the show as they felt accepted on the Reality TV circuit for the first time in the UK, at the time that was definitely done to make big headlines for the show, plus she did showcase more talent than most of the winners at least.
