It seems to me the way to win a food contest is to buy the cheapest rubbish food and pretend its high quality and charge accordingly.
This seems to have happened here. The moral is never buy any cooked food in the street. Once it's sold especially to take home you cant lose since youre not coming back. It surprises me that these contestants can only find this out by experience. If they see cheap fish there must be a reason. Thats not the same as knocking down the price. I bet they could have got that squid for nothing. |

To win tasks, maybe. But if you ran a business like that I think you'll find you soon run out of customers. It's not ethical anyway.

It's a difficult one because on one hand they want the best quality but on the other hand they want a reasonable price
and even the winning team wasted alot of food with all that calamari that they had to bin because it was cheap quality but then atleast they were on time with the lunch hour and made a profit but the other team made more mistakes and missed the lunch hour and charging 9 quid for a salad!!! who would want to buy a salad for that much , and spending too long in the kitchen , and not having the right sales patter in a way i felt sorry for Daniel because he seemed nervous and probably too nice for his own good but he was on the wrong show it wasn't for him and Alan sugar probably saw him as a door mat But April & Brett were happy to throw eachother and Dan under the Bus when really Both April & Brett were in charge and messed up April wouldn't budge on lowering the price even though they had to shift all the fishcake salads she could of accepted that offer of 3 for 10 quid and kept it going And brett made a mess of the fishcakes in the kitchen and made them far too big |
