Default Anyone else miss Peter Dickson (the X Factor voice-over man)? [He's BACK!]
The new person (who I'm pretty sure is in the Chicago Town pizza ad) just doesn't match Peter's distinctiveness .

I know, X-Factor now seems like a different show

Auditions having backing dancers
the judges houses was live like "I'm taking you through to the live shows" was much better than just saying the 3 names who are through.
and now we won't hear the iconic Peter saying their names

I think XF should get axed now

I'm gutted Peter stepped down but I was amazed when I heard Red Pepper's voice last night - he's probably the most famous voiceover man in the world.

At least they've gone all out trying to replace him instead of having Barry the floor manager record some intros instead.

Hated New Kings Order from the start.. so obviously scouted. Video Clips and backing dancers were Cheryl's suggestions btw

I guess that the latter is true, but I would have preferred that they'd got someone who sounds similar to Peter like Brian Blessed.

Fantastic to hear Peter back tonight - as iconic a voice Redd Pepper is he just wasn't suited to the show.
