Default T.Hunt MP : The Labour party is “in the S***” and risks turning into a sect

http://www.theguardian.com/politics/...-tristram-hunt

[The Labour party is “in the ****” and risks turning into a sect, the former
shadow education secretary Tristram Hunt has reportedly told
students at Cambridge University.
Speaking to the university’s Labour club at an event entitled Principles,
Politics and Pathway to Power, Hunt said: “My fear is algorithmic
politics [where because] everyone shares the same views as you
on social media and in your social circles you become a sect rather than a party.”]

Look Pal
if you do not like Corbyn
set up "New Labour Party"

Whether he likes it or not.. corbyn is far more popular than Ed was. And he was elected with 60% of first preference votes.. so he needs to listen to the people.

“You are the top 1%. The Labour party is in the ****. It is your job and your responsibility to take leadership going forward.”

What a ridiculous elitist thing to say, it almost seems that some are being recruited to infiltrate the Labour party, to steer the party back to a centrist capitalist ideal.
There will be no left wing to UK politics if he succeeds.

60% of the eligible Labour members who actually voted. That means nothing at the polls. I hope he continued as leader till the next election. It'll be interesting to hear the excuses as to why Labour bombs out.

Utter nonsense from Tristram Hunt, someone who hadn't the courage to run for leader himself then takes on the Labour movement, full of new members and people who paid a fee to elect the new leader, which resulted in a party leader being elected by more people than any other party leader ever.
Which will make a considerable difference at the polls if those people carry on and go out there campaigning for the party too.

Make me sick although should I be surprised, Tristram's cousin is the Conservative Virginia Bottomley after all and frankly I question his true loyalties more than Corbyn's.

They wouldn't be in print if I had my way and they certainly would never be termed as 'NEWS'papers.
I would have them in the fiction area of any newsagents and publications.

A better place for them than news stands for sure but I wouldn't even soil comics with them.
